Kuwait: New update on parliamentary session

Yesterday’s interpellation of interior minister Sheikh Jaber al-Khalid was followed by ten MPs submitting a motion of no-confidence. This will be discussed on December 17th.

In addition, 29 MPs issued a statement late yesterday evening declaring their support for PM Sheikh Nasser al-Mohammad, making it very unlikely that the motion of no-cooperation submitted against him will gain a majority in parliament.
